Mike wanted to replicate that casual environment officially, enter SNOM.
There was a time when business was being conducted socially in Taverns and Public Houses (Pubs) across America. Relationships were at the heart of business dealings and community development. In Colonial Williamsburg when some of our founding fathers were kicked out of the House of Burgesses by the British Governor of the Virgina colony, they resumed their political dealings down the street at the Raleigh Tavern (pictured above).
In the Information Age, internet based fads come and go. One such fad is the phenomenon which has been dubed "Social Networking". This online virtual interaction between oneself and the world has become common place in homes across America. Some of it is good and some of it is not so good. Businesses and individuals are now capitilizing on the opportunities within "Social Media" but let us not forget that everything comes down to relationships and we believe that relationships are best built through face to face interaction.
SNOM provides a platform for business relationship building: casual networking in a comfortable environment. We invite you to join us at the next bi weekly business networking mixer. There are no fees, no membership requirements, no nametags (we want you to get to know others, not simply identify them) but everyone comes with a common purpose: business networking.
We look forward to seeing you at the next business networking mixer at any one of our three regional chapters!
